See You at the Pole 2025: A Call for This Generation
Wesley Morgan
September 22, 2025
Every year, students from all over the country gather around their school flagpoles before class begins for one purpose... To pray. See You at the Pole isn’t about a program, a church, or even adults leading the way. It’s about students leading students in prayer, lifting up their schools, their friends, and their nation to God.
This year, more than ever, we need a generation that will stand boldly and courageously for the gospel. The world is full of voices shouting for attention, but what would it look like if this generation chose to lift their voices in prayer to the One who truly holds the future?
How to Prepare for See You at the Pole
Here are a few ways you can get ready and help make the day a success:
Pray in advance – Begin now by asking God to prepare your heart and the hearts of other students. Pray for courage to stand and for boldness to speak truth in love.
Invite others – Don’t go alone. Ask your friends, teammates, and classmates to meet you at the flagpole. A simple invitation could change someone’s life.
Bring your Bible – Let it be a visible reminder that God’s Word is your foundation.
Be ready to lead – You don’t have to be perfect to lead. Just be willing. Read Scripture, pray out loud, or even just stand faithfully, it matters.
Stand united – Remember, this is not just about your school, but about students everywhere coming together as one in Christ.
What to Pray For
Not sure what to say when you pray? Here are some simple, powerful things you can bring before God:
Pray for students all over the world who are gathering in other nations. Many of them face little to no religious freedom, and some may even lack basic needs like food. Pray for God’s strength and provision for students gathered with us around the globe.
Pray for our nation and government—that leaders would have wisdom, integrity, and courage to honor God in their decisions.
Pray for our school—administration and teachers. Ask God to bless and guide those who lead and teach us every day.
Pray for our families. Thank God for them and ask for His protection and love to cover them.
Pray for our friends. Lift up their needs, struggles, and faith journeys.
Pray for those standing in the circle with you. Ask God to strengthen their faith and use their courage to make an impact.
Where We’ll Be
First Baptist Clayton will be supporting you in prayer! On the morning of See You at the Pole, we’ll be set up at the corner of Pine and 2nd with a table full of breakfast items, coffee, drinks, and snacks. We won’t be leading the event, this moment is for students, led by students... But we’ll be nearby, praying for you and cheering you on from a distance.
A Challenge for This Generation
Now is the time for students to rise up. Don’t wait for someone else to lead. Be the generation that boldly proclaims the gospel, not just with words, but with your actions and your faith. God can use your courage at the flagpole to spark revival in your school, your town, and even beyond.
“Don’t let anyone despise your youth, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.” – 1 Timothy 4:12
This is your moment. Step up. Stand strong. Pray boldly.
