We're expecting 130 people through our doors this Easter Sunday — and we need your hands, your heart, and your time to help make it an unforgettable day for every family who walks through our doors.
Whether you can help set up Sunday morning, serve during the block party, or stay after to help clean up — there is a place for you on this team.
WHAT'S HAPPENING EASTER SUNDAY
After our 11:00 AM worship service we are throwing the biggest Easter celebration Clayton has ever seen — and it is completely free for every family who shows up.
Here's what we have lined up:
🎵 Live worship music with our full band
✝️ A gospel-centered Easter message worth hearing
🥚 Easter egg hunt — 3 age-divided areas (ages 0–3, 4–7, and 8–12)
🏰 Bounce house, obstacle course & axe throwing
🍔 Free hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, water & sweet tea
🍧 Snow cones
🐴 Pony rides
📸 Family photo backdrop
🎯 Cornhole & lawn games
Food, drinks & snow cones are FREE while supplies last!
Rain or shine — if the weather doesn't cooperate we have a backup plan and will move everything into our Family Life Center. The party is happening no matter what!
WHY VOLUNTEER THIS SUNDAY?
Easter Sunday is the single biggest opportunity of the year to show our community that First Baptist Church Clayton is alive, welcoming, and here for them.
For many people walking through our doors on Sunday it will be their very first time at any church. Your smile, your handshake, and your energy is what they will remember. The egg hunt, the pony rides, the bounce house — these are moments that stick with children and families for life. You get to be part of making that happen for families right here in Clayton.
No long-term commitment required. Just show up, serve with joy, and see what God does with one ordinary Sunday morning.
